No. Although...you make an interesting point. Say there was a striker around who'd scored 20 goals in the Championship by Christmas, with a name like, I don't know, Murray- there's got to be some McHeritage in there surely? They must be sniffing around Selhurst.

No, though geographically you're not far off.
Of the two remaining, one (I think) is an actual Scot, and the other is an Englishman who's jumped on the McGravy Train To Mediocrity.

To be fair, i suspect a lot of NSC couldnt name the entire last full England squad - would be a lot more named than the McScottish squad here.

I'd have a much better chance of naming the Scotland squad from around 1986, courtesy of my Panini sticker-collecting days.
I once got pissed and asked a Scottish mate if the reason they were so bitter about football was because their players only got half-size stickers while the English-based players got proper ones. Can't remember the exact wording of the reply but I'm pretty sure it wasn't "aye, you've got a point there".
