He's obviously quality, but can we talk about his PACE.

He is absolute lightning. When he was chasing that ball from Biss against that pacey Newcastle left back, it was like watching a miniature Usain Bolt.

He has to stop every five minutes to wipe the dead Fly's off his glasses...

Lamptey is an absolute cracking player but the opposition are getting used to giving him 2 or 3 whacks to put him out of the game. He either needs a bit more protection from the refs or a minder to get in there first?

Thought this too. Came across as very humble and not the merest hint of ' Billy Big Balls '.

I was unsure about whether to start a thread about my next point.

I was concerned that Lamptey could be a target for other clubs. But, he genuinely seems to be happy, enjoying his football, give the impression that he likes working with Potter and wants to play.

So, apart from more money and Europe, what would make him want to leave? He won’t want to be a backup player now.
