Still no-one sent off against us despite being the victim of some horror challenges this season (e.g. McCann, Priskin, that Gillingham player). I wonder if we are the only team in the league not to have anyone sent off against us?

Don't forget Strawberry Blonde.

did anyone else see the gesture Tanno was doing (to whom I'm not sure; but a Burnley player) when he came off at the end of the game? Some sort of Latin gesture involving finger/chin/head flick type thing. Probably something to do with swimming and fishes. Made me smile (but would have worried me if I was the Burnley player!)

Are you a teenager by any chance. Because you certainly act like it. Just read your profile. Some kids under 14 might find it amusing

Are you a parrot by any chance, because your posts do seem to be a rehash what other moan about. "conduct unbecoming of an assistant manager" who the f*** do you think you are.

Its clear from your stuck up comments, that you fail to understand the underlaying problem here. I saw Tanno refuse to shake the officials hand, and good for him. What is your problem?

great player, but I reckon so many of our discipline issues stem from him, things like not shaking the refs hand in that manner if true, shoving players, getting yourself sent off (twice) when you hardly play anyway... It's really not the correct conduct for an assistant manager.

Brilliant. And we'll arrange for you to say things to Ashley Barnes' face you arrogant hypocrite.

I love Tanno. He is a BRILLIANT player and a real character. I've loved him since he's been here and I love the fact he is now playing. But his behaviour on the pitch is, at times, appalling, and he is setting a dreadful example to the other players..... at a time when we have an awful disciplinary record.

Yesterday, about 5 minutes after we went down to NINE MEN, he was booked for arguing back. One late tackle and we would have been down to 8 men. He is THIRTY EIGHT YEARS old and he is still regularly sent off (Woking last season and Saints this season) or booked for arguing with the referee.

We now have a culture of complaining amongst the playing and coaching stuff, with Gus moaning about vendettas against us. It is becoming endemic and it is seriously f***ing up our season. As a Brighton fan, this bothers me. Sorry if that upsets you so much.

As for reacting because we lost, that couldn't be further from the truth. I was utterly proud to be a Brighton fan yesterday and thought it was an absolutely heroic performance.
Arrogant hypocrite. Its the old pot kettle black again..... Listen to yourself, you are sounding mroe and more clueless every post you make. I'd happly tell AShley Barnes I don't rate him. I'd happily tell him why. I doubt he would give the slightest f***. You go up and tell Tanno and I'll quote you he is"a petulant twat, spoilt child and embarrassing ", I'd hope he give you a slap, but then we all know you wouldn't have the bollocks to say boo to a goose.

You seem to repeat what the other children are saying. As you brought it up we'll Look at the Southampton. Yes he did get sent off for discent. But according to the players, no worse than what the ref was saying to them. Ask yourself this. Why then did the FA take the unpresidented action of charging the club over the "second penatly incident" and NOT failing to control their player during a match, which is the usual charge?? Why?? Thart way the club can only defend themseleve at the FAs kangeroo court, over the few seconds around the 2nd pen. They cannot report or use any other incident in their defence. Ask yourself why the FA did that, when you have got players and staff of the club going on record saying the ref was using foul and absive langugae to them. Ask yourself why the first penatly and the fact it was a good yard outside the box and the player who won the penatly didnt even enter the box, could not be used in evidence, or why we was not charged over that, when it was probably the worse of the two incidents where dissent was used, considering the ref had to send someone off?? Why was we not charged over the first penatly as well. Mmmmmm mystery that. If you do have a think, then just maybe you may see that Tanno was harshly dealt with at Southampton.

If you watch Poyet, most 50/50 incidents he will nto reaact to. Far worse goes on, on the other bench. Poyet will usually pull a face as though to say "maybe, maybe not" but when something major happens he does get involed, as does Tanno, and I personally love them for it. It's called passion, and that what comes when you employ two South Americans.

Its the same PASSION that turned us from dropping into the basement division, too the top of the championship banging on the premiershps door in LESS THAN TWO YEARS, and only one whole full season. PASSION.

Its what has made the players one of the closest group of players in football today. It what has made this football club a pleasure to support since Poyet and Tanno came in.

And you say its QUOTE "becoming endemic and it is seriously f***ing up our season". Are you for real?? We are on the edge of the play offs!!

So we are getting lots of yellows. So what! Didn't (I think it was) KLL get hacked in the box this season and get booked for diving, when it was clearly a penatly on TV evidence? This yellow is still on his record, and you take these stats and moan about them. All the time the FA refuse to overturn yellow cards when they are clearly cleary wrong, then I fail to see how the club can be concerned over the amount we get. Take a close look at Ackers stats. Thats tells a story in itself. Take a closer look, and I bet you 20% of the bookinsg were wrong, 20% were harsh, and probaly 20% again you could pick out worse fouls every weekend that didnt result in a yellow card.

So no, I dont give the slightest shit over the "disclipne issue" as I dont think there is one. And nor does it seem does Poyet or the club. Off the top of my head, we have only had one player suspended for 5 bookings, and I dont see that a problem even i one of the other 4 picks up a yellow in their next two games.

That said, Vincelot and Barnes should be f***ing slaghtered by Poyet for what they did yesterday. Especially Barnes. Vincealot was a twat for getting caught, but he only did something that happens every game. Barnes would have more excusable if he didnt do it 5 minutes after Vincealot went so early in the game, and so blanetly. And whatever the rights and wrongs of the Barnes sending off, although their player had to go as well, Barnes deserved to get sent off.

So I am not happy over the disclipine yesterday, because it cost us the game, even if it did gives us memories well all remember for years to come. But overall, if you bother to take a look at the whole situation, and try and understand the wider picture, I don't have the slightest issue with disclipline over the course of the season, apart from yesterday, and the way things unfolded yesterday I think the club can be excused this one laspe in the circumstances.

Or would you prefer to get rid of the passionate South Americans, and go back to having someone on the touchline who stands there arms folded and says or does nothing. Because if you prefer that, with the players we have, we'll soon find oursleves back in the lopwer divisions.

Come on seriously
endemic and it is seriously f***ing up our season
and on Tanno, someone you claim to love, calling him a
petulant twat
spoilt child
embarrassing
. Go and sit down in a darkened room mate, and have a serious word with yourself, and maybe think for more than one second before posting shit about someone.

The problem which you don't understand is that he is the assistant manager and senior player and all the playing staff must take their lead from his behaviour which everyone but you agrees is petulant and sometimes cringeable
As for you, you have managed to call plenty of people on this thread a :wanker: demonstrating to everyone exactly where you are on the evolutionary tree

Not so many seasons ago we had an old fella playing at the back by the name of Tank. You could count the number of bookings he had over 5 years on one hand and I don't think he ever got a Red. Why? Cos he was wise enough to know that opening your mouth in any kind of disagreement with a ref, no matter how right you were, was most likely gonna cost you a yellow.

Tanno should know better, the chances of ever getting a ref to change his decision are smaller than zero, so shut up and get on with it. Agree, he should be leading by example as an assistant manager and moaning and discenting are not a good role model for the youger players who look u to him.

Is there a stato out there that can give a breakdown on our cards this year compared to other seasons - are we getting more cards for decsent, etc, than for dangerous play - we're not a dirty team are we?

You seem very very capable of seeing what isn't there.

Everyone but me thinks he is petulant and cringable. Really, you speak for everyone else do you? I've called plenty of people a :tosser: Really, have I? Where. I counted three, including you. That's hardly plenty is it.

You do like to exaggerate a lot don't you.

How can we listen to anything you say or any opinion you have, when you claim speak for everyone else. You're a little bit up your own arsehole there mate.

So what you say then, is even when the referee gives a penatly outisde the box, not 50/50 or a close call where you have to look at a reply a couple of times, but on the realms of cheating, and when we see our player have his head smashed into the ground by a player who has just tackled him two footed with both feet up, our assitant manager who is on the pitch should say nothing.

Really?

Do you think that may do more harm than good, when the players see someone they look up to not sticking up for them?

Was he the only one who spoke to the ref?

Again, you can easily turn to stats and see we are getting a lot of cards, but as I said earlier, you really need to look deeper why we are getting them, and it draws a different picture. The bottom line is, if the referee were not so poor, we would not be getting nearly as many cards as we are. Poyet is not concerned by it, the club are not concerned by it. I really fail to see why so many on here are getting their knickers in a twist over it

I think Tanno is awesome. I think his behaviour is EPIC. I particularly like the way he rolls his socks down.

What do you want? A team of teetotal pros who shake everyone's hands, have perfect teeth and ZERO personality?

OR

An international team of FLAIR that, yes may make mistakes, but play their hearts out and fight for each other?

He didn't shake the refs hand? So what! No one died and I'm pretty sure that any child who saw it will not be scarred for life as a result.

I believe the way Tanno reacted in making sure the ref knew he refused to shake his hand says more about the ref than about Tanno. Why would wish to shake the hand of someone who has just made a complete mockery of the game. Our two sending offs aside (1st I didn't see so can't comment and the 2nd seen live and three more times and appears harsh) the fact he got so much wrong and appeared to enjoy his notoriety, Tanno only showed him the contempt he deserved.

I really believe that the FA need to stop this action against any manager/assistant manager who dare criticize the ref. Old Harry interviewed after the Stoke Spurs game the other day only said what was obvious to anyone who witnessed the game. I for one would not support Spurs in any game (still remember the cheats) but that game was unreal. The result from the FA, Harry gets warned over his future conduct. What utter utter crap!

When you go down to nine you have to try all the tricks in the book to even things up. Mind you, it comes with facing another red and going down to 8, but i dont mind that, bollocks to just sitting there with 9 and getting battered.

They were not battering us our major problem was that we had no outlet for the ball from the defence. Had we been reduced to eight by Tarrico's actions it would have been in our interestes to have had another player sent off because you must have 8 players to continue the game. Had we been reduced to 7 before 63rd minute the game would have been abandoned and then replayed.

I think you may have your wires crossed there Bens Grandad. If we had gone down to 7 (or is it 6) then the game would have been abandoned, and Burnley would have been awarded a win, and the FA would have held one of their Kangeroo courts, and we would have got a massive fine and probably points deduction.

Not way would it have been replayed.
