10 points from our first 8 would be a great return, especially considering we will have played the top two sides away, two other top 6 sides at home and none against the sides fancied for relegation. 7 points from those 5 would put us on course for 45+ points which is generally a top half finish, so there's no need to panic if we don't get that many.

Just had a look to see the latest relegation odds and we are 4th favourites for relegation ahead of Burnley, Huddersfield and Cardiff, which is surprising considering our last two performances.

zero injuries to defenders is my hope , 2 already out and 2 going on international duty ... as for points I hope for 7 plus but will settle for 6 to keeps us ahead of the point per game ratio

Would be very happy with 6 points having played some very difficult games. Would give us a good springboard to push on into the rest of the season

I look at the assumption we play 38 games so split into 4 blocks of 10 games with an 8 game block so we need 10pts from each block to stay up. And if we carry any other from each block it goes to help the 8 game block

Come on - we're just little old Brighton. Teams should really be beating us ya know!

Target has to be 15! No one plays a competitive game aiming to lose it, surely?
However the hope is for 5 or 7 points with nothing against Man City.

WDLLW - 7.

10 points after 8 games (inc 4 of the 'top 6') would be a superb start with a potentially slightly easier run of games ahead.

We have €70m worth of talent to bring into a starting lineup which has already beaten Man United.

13 points.
