Still at least youve cut the fuel costs in half now Doddsy shares the driving.

My Clio 1.4 takes £35 a full tank, about 350 miles. A full tank got me to Derby and back.

Extremely!

You should try Tesco or Iceland then, I'm something of an expert on this subject ! (For all the wrong reasons).

You're not wrong he only has to fill it up about once a week now! but he only drives a 1.4 diesel to and from training so it wasnt too bad anyway. My car probably takes nearer £60 to fill up but I only let him drive it on a matchday! :lolol:

Do you really only let him have a ride in you on matchdays? It that before or after the half time oranges and Bovril?

On NSC for over two decades...
The 55 litre tank on my Golf costs over £40 to fill up. But as it sits outside my flat doing nothing the majority of the time, and I can get over 400 miles on a tank, that really doesn't bother me.

I thought his car sponsor deal would cover petrol as well?

Think he'd prefer the oranges and bovril to be honest!

Around €30 to fill my Panda (2005, not 1980's) with diesel. 102.9 last time, seems to have hit 104.9 at the same station now...

Just over £50 (diesel) to fill up the Alfa. I get about 550 to a tank which is good but I do 400 a week for work, not so good.:(

My first car was a Panda, it cost me 5 quid a week in petrol to run, but cost me a fortune in repairs cos it was a heap of shit!!
