On talksport last night with Ian Wright and Adrian Durham they were doing football quiz questions and one was who scored the last goal of the last millenium and the first goal of this millenium.
They said it was David Livermore when he was at Millwall who scored them both. Now i thought it was our very own Darren Freeman who scored the first goal of this millenium......cantremember who we were playing but we had an early kick off that day if i remember rightly......am i right or did i completely make this up!

Pretty sure your right there, against Exeter I think in a 4-2 win, didnt he then show a t-shirt underneath that said happy new year, a nice touch!!

Think Pinamonte was on target in that game, then declared he wanted to sign for us, thank f*** he didnt!

Definitely right, they made a big thing about it at the time because we had the early kick off.

Not strictly speaking true. Darren Freeman did score the first goal of the year 2000, however as the year 2000 was actually the last year of the 20th century it'll actually be whoever scored the first goal in 2001 that had scored the first of the twenty-first century.
