I'm very confused by all this Hoskins stuff, hes been linked to 3-4 clubs this window. After Poyet seemingly chasing Hoskins for 6 months last season, we seem keen to let go of him after half a season, on what looks like a very promising player, hampered by injury ?

It's a strange one for sure. Seems like we've had months of him being injured then just when he comes back to fitness and look sharp again we ship him off. Can only be that Gus doesn't rate him as much as when he bought him. Weird.

If I was Gus and didn't think he was going to contribute, I think I'd loan him to a lower Championship side for the rest of the season, ensuring he doesn't play against us.

I find it funny that people seem to think that if someone shows an interest in one of our players, it must mean that Gus doesn't have them in his plans.

It's quite possible that other teams have seen that he hasn't played very much, but don't know the ins and outs of why, have decided that we might let him go and have made enquiries/offers.

Just because someone shows an interest in one of our players it doesn't mean that they're no longer in our plans and will be offloaded. Of course, 'showing an interest' will immediately be turned into transfer rumours by the media as it sells.
