Rape of Hastings, Sussex
The joys of working of home means I am nearly done. The pub awaits and England expects.....................

As as a wise man sang 26 years ago though.......................

You've got to hold and give
But do it at the right time
You can be slow or fast
But you must get to the line
They'll always hit you and hurt you
Defend and attack
There's only one way to beat them
Get round the back
Catch me if you can
Cos' I'm the England man
And what you're looking at
Is the master plan
We ain't no hooligans
This ain't a football song
Three lions on my chest
I know we can't go wrong

Worthing
Being self employed I can knock off when I like.
I feel underwhelmed at mo tbh much like the last fifty years watching England

I had to ask myself permission for the day off and at first was told that I could knock off at 1.30. Then told myself that you have to have a couple beers before hand when watching England as its part of the deal. So I relented and said," Go on then, have the day off, get pissed and come in midday on Friday"

The lab where I work is projecting the game on big screens in the common room. Now it will be interesting to see how many of the people here actually care about football/care enough about the match to bother watching it. I risk being the only one following it and end up facing the wrath of my project supervisor et al.
