The only saving grace I can see in all of this is that it appears to have Boris the Blade in it, as himself.

It's good if you treat it as a comedy.

As an action/adventure it's absolutely dripping with badly executed cliches. I was amazed Neeson signed up for the first one, let alone a sequel. Should have been a Green Grocer with AIDs.

If you want to watch an enjoyable film then i'd suggest Taken. It's no masterpiece but it's a lot of fun. After the profit the first made, I wasn't surprised they decided to make a sequel.

Taken is alright if you want and hour or so of simple plotlines and mindless violence, sometimes that's what I want out of a film.

If you're a critic or a film snob you'll probably slate it for those reasons.

*edit* Not sure how you could squeeze a sequal out of it though

The first one was ok. Sometimes the storyline did dip, especially in the middle of the film. Not surprised they've made a Sequel, but I doubt it will be any good.
