This question is borne basically of ignorance - what is it about Taco Bell that people take a swipe at it? Is it like MacDonalds (i.e. inedible fat burgers, and undrinkable shakes trying to disease and infest an entire population from a multi-national fatbastard conglomerate) or is their stuff just shit?

Or have I missed something else completely different?

No idea. Always confused me.

Wasnt it mentioned in Demolition Man as being the only eat out restaurant left? Was this a hidden dig or am I giving the makers of the film too much credit...

..that said they did make Sandra Bullock wear a police uniform all through the film.
:)

Its very common in the Southern half of the USA where there is a large ex-Mexican population, that love that kind of food. THey tried it over here but it flopped as the British public are not into Mexican food. Taco Bells are rare in the Northern half of the USA and Canada as their is hardly any ex-Mexicans.

Taco Bell is a very sanitised and bland version of "Tex-Mex" food, which itself is about as similar to real Mexican food as a banjo is to an elephant.

Defo a yanky thing, I went to one in Albany (Upstate NY) and I thought it was class....the guys I was with were all "how can you SAY that!?!?"...I then likened it to McDonalds compared to Uncle Sams or something :)

What's an ex-Mexican?

BTW your signature is wrong, you are a citizen of the EU. And British:) Thought you might want to rectify that.

You are a EU citizen Strike whether you like it or not.

There are many advantages to this as well such as freedom of movement between member states for workers etc.

You can say you look upon yourself as English and not European, but to say you are not a citizen of the EU is like saying you are not a citizen of Sussex. You live in the EU I am afraid Buddy.

No I won't I will never accept myself as a EU citizen. I was taught at school I was a British and English citizen, never EU I know we live in the continent of Europe and our ethnic origin is European. But I was taught at school that the EU was a trade union not a country. Sadly I find out when I live school its a country, and I want us out. So I will always think of myself as a British/ English citizen. Never EU or US.

I thought you were planning on moving to Burgess Hill or Haywards Heath Strike?

Or is the riding on whether we join the single currency?

You say you are English, so why would you abandon your country in favour of Canada.

Why chose Canada?
