My nephew has asked us for a tablet for Xmas this year. I am trying to get something reasonable for under £100 if possible, I have stumbled across this on Amazon, is it any good??

If not does anyone else have any recommendations for a decent tablet (basically for playing a few basic games and surfing the net) preferably under a ton??

Don't know about the one linked but I have had one of the below for eightmonths now and it has servied me well for games, anime viewing and the like:

edit: I seem to recall (not at home atm) taht I have a 16GB version that I payed a bit more for - that only relates to storage space though.[/QUOTE]

Having just located this thread. We're looking to get the kids a tablet each for Xmas, and the Tesco Hudl is on the clubcard exchange at the moment, so if you've got enough clubcard vouchers, you can get a £119 tablet for £60 worth. Gotta be worth it!

Amazon are doing the Kindle Fire HD (which is a year old) for £99, good value.

Your problem there is you have an iPad in the house. They will know the difference.
