The Super 8 groups were seeded in advance so it didn't matter whether we came first or second, we were always going to be in Group 2 for the Super-8s. We were actually seeded as Group winners, and retain that seeding.

We get USA rather than Pakistan, which is nice, along with South Africa and West Indies. India and Australia should cruise the other group.
England, at their best, would hope to navigate that group. It's all been a bit strange. I gave up on England's hopes after the Aussies went strolling last night and now they're still in it.

OK it was only against PNG, but Ferguson of NZ has just bowled 4 overs, 4 maidens, 0 runs, 3 wickets

Impressive

Very impressive. Saw the second half of England’s innings, and Salt & Bairstow just destroyed the Windies. Definitely change of mood in the England camp after that.

India won the toss and chose to bat first. A slow start at 8/0 from the first 2 overs and a declined LBW shout is reviewed on the 1st ball of the 3rd over. Not pitching in line, so Afghanistan lose a review.

Then Sharma holes out at mid-on. 11/1 game on.

COME ON AFGHANISTAN!!! :D

A TV Doubleheader!!

England v South Africa from St.Lucia (3.30pm)
followed by Hampshire v Sussex (7.00pm) both live on SkySports

England are back in action shortly with a game against South Africa.
Following their demolition of the West Indies they seem to have regained their form.

Get those tasks at work and at home sorted and treat yourself to a bit of me time with a nice cup of coffee and cricket watching.
