Massively. It's either played by people with commonwealth roots or upper-class people.

The level of competition here is actually quite high, with all the teams in the Topklasse having overseas players in their teams. For example, the team I play for usually have around 1/2 South Africans and 2/3 Pakistanis a season coming to play for us that play in their respective top-level national competitions. Most clubs have 'sponsors' who have been involved in the club who fund this. Not to mention that there are 5 certified grounds suitable for international cricket.
I played a couple of games in my 20s for I think The Hague. Long time ago but standard was good and a couple of Wis playing. A bit firy on a matting wicket

Interesting how standards vary in Europe. I played in the 90s and would have been regarded as a decent bowler at village level but not quite good enough for the upper echelons of the County League. I played with a French and a Greek international in France and would have been good enough for their national teams.

The Netherlands was a grade above.

I wish I'd stayed in France. I would love to have been a French International !

Quite a few teams in The Hague, but parts of it are some of the poshest areas in The Netherlands.

Some seriously tricky wickets there with the wind mind!

It is strange. Cricket came to NL before football so I'm guessing that has something to do with it. For some reason, unlike Italy and other European countries, it stuck here.

Picking up the rate nicely. Could set up a decent target.

Quite enjoying this.

Williamson gone for 46 from 42...

Never know with T20 what a good score is. Rely on commentators and those at the ground to inform.

I have a feeling 155 will prove to be above par, although it doesn't feel like it at the moment.

Pakistan were 200/1 on the exchanges to win the tournament after their first 2 games.

Now favourites.

Pakistan winning this tournament from being almost certain to be eliminated would be the most "Pakistan at a world cup" thing ever

Apart from 1992 when I won £120 from a 12/1 bet when they were struggling just above Zimbabwe.
Fantastic mindset today. Really fired up.
