My dog of 8+ years has done her cruciate ligament and a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Ostectomy) has been recommended by my vet. Has anyone knowledge or experience of this which is a referral onwards as specialist required ?

Our old German Shepherd had this done. Recovery was slowish but results were almost perfect. unfortunately she died of canine hepatitis within a year but would recommend tplo.

Thanks WS that is indeed Cassie my rescue working cocker in the PP, she was younger then but still gorgeous.

I have read up about the recommended specialists who seem to be excellent but will bear in mind about NF.

Just to add that we had ours done by our regular vets, Companion Care at Pets At Home in Burgess Hill. They've always been brilliant with not of our dogs.
