Just wondered if anyone knew of any good places to watch footy in Sydney?? Been here a couple of months and still haven't found anywhere. Been watching a fair bit of premiership in empty 24 hour pubs and the pub we were in for the cup final kicked everyone out after 90 minutes!! Beginning to get seriously worried about the world cup.

Cheers in advance.

Stumpy Tim is prob the best person to ask - There is a sports bar near Kings x station I believe.

You can even hire a hooker after.

I think there's going to be a big screen tv at customs house for the duration!! Showing 24 hours? I read it online in the SMH a few weeks ago..

and as dire as it is Jacksons on George from memory usually shows loads of big games as they have loads of big screen tv's - heres their web site and what they're showing...

Sydney .
"Theatre of Dreams" is what your looking for .
It was in operation for the 2002 Worlld Cup and also
the 2003 Rugby World Cup .
A bit like a virtual football ground with tiered terracing , beer and
the smell of fried onions .
I'd imagine it'll be on again for this World Cup too .
