I'm contemplating an early saturday cinema showing of either knight and day or cats and dogs 2d, then a slow meander home taking in part of the pride parade along the way, then home in time to listen to the game on the radio.

It's that or stay in saturday reading 'the girl who played with fire' until kick off and 'recovering from giving blood'* the day before.

*I don't actually tend to be affected by donating blood, but it is a good excuse for just lounging all day

If you are then you really shouldn't be doing it.

Seriously, I'm not affected. Or haven't been yet. I only hang around after donations for drinks/snacks because I worry they won't let me just walk out. Plus, I worry that if I did walk out I'd discover it's one of those things where you feel fine then suddenly have a silly turn.

Is this thread for real!

No wonder we get slated for being queers, my word......who in their right mind would choose to watch a load of blokes kissing each other and prancing about making a show of themselves ahead of watching the albion away on the first game of the season.

Seriously!

You're right. This thread is far too gay. Let's hetrosexualise it with some men doing the most manly of things, football...

If you say shit like this then you've clearly never been to pride.

byf,

I have to say - pride has become an event for everyone. I went one year and it was good laugh - bit like the old carnival they used to have in Prest. Park.
