It does seem strange that you are all ticket, only rovers is normally in advance. oh well dont think it will be going ahead anyway.

Why do you think that? We played in minus degrees when we whomped you 3-0.

It'll be going ahead. You can put it off forever, young man. We'll turn up and teach you gents how the game is played. McNulty will have Amankwaah AND McGovern in his pocket.

Crofts is going to physically DOMINATE Douglas, no question.

With regards to the ticket issue, I still think it's a bit toilet to make it all ticket. I did get in touch with a Swindon official to ask why they insisted on making it all ticket, and they said that it was a joint request by the police and the club, who want to know how many fans we're going to have in our section because in his own words, they "underestimated" the level of response last season and the stewarding was "undermanned", that was his claim. They had no idea how many we would bring, so they didn't want to get with their trousers down again, so to speak.

Are you WW in disguise? With that sort of attitude do we assume you haven't been to any games (home or away) this season since around mid September?

At least show me some respect - I may think we're bound to lose, but I'm not stupid enough to think we've nothing to play for when we're in the bloody relegation zone!!!

the problem is that the Don Rogers stand shades 3/4 of the pitch from any sunlight throughout the day, fingers crossed it will be ok.

the result well, it depends what swindon team turns up, 3 times this season we havent bothered, pikeys, hartlepool and last week against rovers. If we play like we did against orient or southampton we should batter you. We have a potential new superstar in Charlie Austin who only 3 months was playing in the wessex league and was a brickie. has scored 4 in 4. cracking little signing.

In London village.
Selling less will make it easier to give refunds when the game gets called off at 11.35 on Saturday morning.

You mean I'll be FORCED to carry out an all day pub crawl with the Laird?

With respect, you don't batter anyone. You're the Fulham/Everton of League 1, good small compact squad all playing together and for the same cause, so you achieve more than the sum of all the parts would suggest. As for Austin, I've seen all 4 of his goals and they weren't exactly difficult finishes, he's instinctive and has been lucky so far in being in the right place at the right time. The only thing in your favour, apart from Brez in goal, is El-Abd at left back for us. He's more of a calamity than Lescinel... But that should help us actually, your playing him.

Bennett vs Lescinel. :clap2:

It's just a f***ing joke. I might go, I might not; would be nice to be able to just turn up on the day & get in, just like at Saints.
The "interview" when buying a ticket for a football match is getting quite irritating.

Some issues with this.

1) You don't actually watch Swindon on a regular basis, as much as you'd like to kid yourself you do because you've met up with some bird a couple of times - therefore, you're in no position to be telling Swindon fans about their team when they see it a lot more often than you do. It comes across as bloody irritating to me, and must be incredibly patronising to them.

2) With respect, another thing in their favour is that they are playing us. We are crap, but then you wouldn't know that, because you don't agree with the clubs ticket policy. :dunce:

What the HELL does that even mean?

Good bloody grief, you really need to uninstall Football Manager.

lescinel wont be playing, sheehan will be left back with either macklin timlin or obrien at left midfield

How much do you fancy waging on Lescinel not playing?

Macklin is only just coming back into it, right? Timlin is quality mind, but on the left of midfield? I'd be suprised if he played there, it wouldn't be a bad thing for us though to be honest mate. On paper, and in theory.

no offence ninja but timlin has played left midfield quite a bit as well as left back, however he has been hardly quality this season, in fact he has been f***ing awful, obrien is going to be our first choice left winger but he needs games to be match fit, to be fair i reckon we will play 4-3-3 but im no manager so what the f*** do i know.

Lescinel has played the vast majority of the season at left back, right? And Timlin has played how many times on the left of midfield? How many changes has Wilson made to the team voluntarily? All these things make me think there won't be too many changes. Sheehan played more at left back for Leeds than left midfield, so I wouldn't be too suprised to see him moved backwards and O'Brien come in at some point, but would you predict it for saturday? I know the 3 Bristol Rovers goals came from your left, but even with that said I doubt Wilson is going to change things too radically.

Unless he's as pissed off as after the 5-0 and drops the majority of them, which I hope he does because it can only be good news for us.

I got to the clun shop about 12.30 to be told Swindon had sold out - Woo Hoo I though 1,200 tickets sold.

Why would you think "woohoo" if you had failed to get a ticket?!

If they are the Fulham of League One, what does that make us? Hull? Thrown money at the squad and no real return?

Not much point asking valid questions - he'll only give you a response if you give him room to ramble about the various Swindon players he's got plastered all over his bedroom wall.
