For a play off chasing side, the numbers were nothing to write home about but that aside , has anyone ever told them that youre supposed to sing away from home. Pathetic........but H Block in comparison were in good form today.

Right excuses excuses i hear you cry but here goes....

Mk dons, brighton, southampton - 3 away trips in the space of 7 days. In these tough financial times where money is tight which game of those 3 would you drop? Of course its going to be withdean with its f***ing abysmal view. We took 800 to franchise on tuesday and have sold 2300 for st marys next week.

Why is it whenever a team beats us at Withdean, being reduced to complaining about the size and singing of the away support becomes the booby prize?

It isn't an either or, yes we lost but win or lose that was a very poor turnout - not much of a fan base based on that

Well, interesting that there weren't many moans about the size of Exeter's crowd when we beat their team!

To be fair to Exeter they brought around 600, which isn't a bad away turnout.

Also, I think it's unfair to criticise any away following at Withdean as I wouldn't pay to sit in that away end.

Hey, mate. I'm not actually moaning about Exeter's turnout. I am not going to get sucked into complaining about the numbers any team takes to Withdean partly because, as you say, the view is so poor. I also think it's somewhat mind-numbing.

I brought up Exeter simply to show that no one bothers to bad mouth another team's away support numbers when the Albion win.

Not many examples to use to see if there is any trend here are there? After we win a few at home (it has to happen some stage) we can see if this is truel

I'm surprised we get any away fans with the worst view in football!

So am i, if i was a fan of a visiting club theres no way id pay £20+ to go and sit on scaffolding 50 yards away.
Also its not as tho we rarely play Swindon as well, unlike the Exeter game.

Swindon:

tin pot club, tin pot nothing town, tin pot supporters.

that's all you need to know. In fact the only thing ever that swindon
have contributed is band XTC.
