Bizarrely we’re basically facing a hybrid of Dynamo Kiev and Shaktar Donetsk in the next round. I think, of their starting 11 today only Zinchenko and Yarmolenko play for another club.

We should beat them, but you’d imagine there’s an extra fluidity when so many players play with and against each other so often. I do feel though that Colombia three years ago and Germany today are testament to the fact that Southgate gets the mental aspect right.

Thought it was a pretty good game overall.

We we're the slightly better team over the first 90 minutes but after the red card it was always going to turn difficult. No worse way than losing in the 121th minute though... would have preferred to go out on penalties or in the first 90. Rough. Also would have liked to see some subs earlier, Kulusevski looked dead for the last 25 minutes.

Think we will have a reasonably good team in Qatar 2022, if we get there. Bit of a generation change and it could be wonky but there's some decent, promising players and I think Janne Andersson is a good coach.

I’d except a very similar team. Grealish might get the nod over Foden however.

Also thought it was weird the complained but apparently he didnt really know. Later when he saw the incident again he agreed it was 100% a red card.
