Apart from a few complete nutters we don't write to Mr Barber about generalities as we accept that he has FAR more important things to do than answer questions about pre-match music for example. Indeed I find I'm slightly resentful that you've wasted his valuable time (especially during a transfer window) getting him to answer your inane questions.

I've emailed Paul barber a little over the years, but only where it merited it for a particular issue. Every time he replied within 24 hours, normally much quicker. Haven't done it for several years now but impressive to see even though the club is bigger he still does it, regardless of the email received!

Very impressive.

I think I'm gonna do the same thing - gather random opinions from fans and email them to the clubs - to the other 19 PL clubs and see if & how they respond, and then make a fuzz about it. Sort of like this guy, but more delicate. Most papers in the UK wrote about that experiment, and Everton ended up gaining a ton of good PR and goodwill. Yes, gonna do it... just need to find a way of fuzzing about while staying anonymous. Hmm.

I dont think any club will be able to match up with Brighton/Barber on this one - I'm a give him a good reason to jerk off to his own decision to respond to anyone, despite realistically gaining very little from it. Paul Barber, the imminent rock star of fan care.
