31st August 2001….i know that because my daughter was born about two hours after the game finished (which was very thoughtful of Mrs Mac)My first England away match was the 5-1 in Munich thanks for the great memories of that night

Very thoughtful indeed, but it was 1st September 2001.31st August 2001….i know that because my daughter was born about two hours after the game finished (which was very thoughtful of Mrs Mac)
Exactly. I got married on the Friday thinking I wouldn't miss an Albion match (date selected before the fixture release), watched the 5-1 on the Sat and then flew off to the Seychelles on the Sunday! (The other big event was of course 9-11 and we had to fly back a few days after that!).Very thoughtful indeed, but it was 1st September 2001.
We lost 2-0 to Northampton away the night before on the 31st August.
I got the train down afterwards and disembarked at Gatwick Airport!
Sometimes it's best to say nothing.worse England manager ever, but out of respect RIP
From 67 games in charge, Sven had a W40 D17 L10 record. That's a 59.7% Win Percentage.worse England manager ever, but out of respect RIP
