Shortly before the Snow began to fall I took a few snaps with my phone of the new South West stand and the New Gilligan (dunno if it'll be called that!)

More to come another day should people want them enough!

when is work going to be finished?

This was posted on their website on 09th September 2010

With time tight to have the works completed ready for the 2011 season starting in mid April, it is vital that we get a running start as soon as the 2010 is complete.

To remind you all, our building programme for 2010/11 is as follows:-

1. A new South Stand to house the press facilities, Howzat Educational Centre, public physio and toilets.
2. A new South-West stand to replace the current terraced seating which will house 1,700 seats plus create space in the base for our new Club Shop and Reception, food and beverage outlets and toilets.
3. The Member’s Pavilion will be completely refurbished internally.
4. There will be an extension to the Indoor School in the North-West corner of the ground to build a gym and recovery area for the players as well as a new toilet block.

It is our aim to have all of these works completed by the end of March (the Indoor School extension should be completed by the end of February), though the non-pitch facing elements of the two stands will be fitted out during the course of the summer season, completing in September 2011.

From week commencing 13th September, Farnrise Construction (who carried out Phase 1 and have been appointed the main contractors for Phase 2) will be taking over the western side of the ground and building their construction compound. That week will also see the Club staff vacating their offices and moving to temporary facilities on the eastern-side of the ground with the Eaton Road entrance being closed, other than for pedestrian access.

Demolition and construction works will then commence from week commencing the 20th September.

I think those plans are old and i've not seen any updated ones, they've chopped and changed them so may times I've lost track. I'll have an ask around tomorrow as I'm intrigued about the flats though!
