Indeed. Can vaguely remember Sussex playing in a one day final at Lords back in the 1980's or 90"s, (were Warwickshire the opponents?), I think Sussex were coasting home, then they made an absolute horlicks of bowling the final over, and Warks got home off just about the final ball. Final over bowled by Franklyn Stevenson, have l got that right?

We were coasting indeed until someone took the game by the scruff of the neck. I remember this sung repeatedly, to The Mighty Quin, by thousands of delirious Brummies.

Yep me too, was given leave off HMS Cardiff to attend this match, at the tea break iirc you could get odds of 100-1 Warks winning, yes there was a tea break in 60 over Cricket!
