The Sussex batsmen are already in full flow, some lovely drives from Thornely and beautiful cutting from Nash. Unfortunately for the Foxes, Thornely's on the golf course and Nash is mowing his lawn.

Top of the league!

I hope they will use this day to take a long hard look at themselves. :nono:

And think of the money they could have made from spectators, tactics like that could easily send this county into administration

I am sure that if there any connossiuers of haute cuisine they would enjoy the leftover quiche prepared for todays' lunch and tea. I have heard that there is also huge portions of Madiera Cake and a nice Pork Pie!

Well I have been sat in my deckchair at the county ground since 10.30am and had failed to realise that the players had opted for a day off. Still its been the most exciting cricket that I have seen this season so far today. Had a good chat with E.X.Tras and he hopes to get back to form in the next game.

BTW the Sussex players were gutted that yesterdays rain came too late to effect the match, they were so so close to holding out to the rain but as usual failed at the last minute.

golf course, cutting grass, I can't believe the attitude ! Why aren't the whole team outside the oval today, looking over the fence watching Surrey seconds practising in the nets. At least then they might learn how to play like a proper team.

I'm just back from the County Ground, got a refund on my membership as it clearly states FOUR day games and I am only getting THREE, f***ing pathetic, false advertising.

I can't believe (well actually I can believe) just how many points Sussex have DROPPED so far this season:

vs Glamorgan - 21 points = 3 points DROPPED
vs Surrey - 23 points = 1 point DROPPED
vs Gloucs - 19 points = 5 (yes FIVE) points DROPPED
vs Leics - 23 points = 1 point DROPPED

What hope have we got if we keep throwing these points away?!

If they cannot make the games last four days I think they should take a voluntary 25% pay cut

I see we are no longer batting and we have not even made lunch. Disgraceful performance. :nono:
