Looking to put a positive spin on things, even if we get spanked we will still extend our lead over the Yorkies at the top of the table, as they are getting marmalised by the true champions. Having been bowled out for 144 and so far taking just 2 wkts in 97 overs [Lancs are 350-2] they have failed to score ANY points yet.

36/0 is indeed a better start than last time. However, we need FIVE HUNDRED AND FOUR.

I just don't see it. This side is gutless. :nono:

Dissapointingly, with Lancs on 400andsomething for 3, Yorks now have ONE point.

Everytime this thread bounces i fear we've lost a wicket!

A tragic performance by Sussex. I fully expect a collapse to commence within the next few overs. How we won any silverware in the past few years is beyond me. I am actually ashamed to be a Sussex fan :nono:

It is just a question of waiting for that first wicket to tumble and then that is it... :nono:

I think that's right: Nash can't get beyond 70, Yardy can't buy a run this season and our tail starts at 6. Goodwin and Grizzly can't do it all themselves. I bet we won't make 350.

Anyone remember the same fixture last year? We were something for 3 at the end of day 3, miles behind and needing to bat out the last day to survive...Murray & Yards were in and we didn't lose a single wicket all day! Let's hope for the same result!
