Brixtaan I'll agree with you on Ed Smith, he is a class player, but he is a good player in a very mediocre side. All to often Kent are left relying on his runs to bail them out. I'd rather see Smith in the England side then Key, but you know how the selectors in this country work!
I agree with you Brixtaan, Ed Smith should get his chance in the near future. But then so should Kirtley (ahead of over-rated second division poor man's Botham, Darren Gough) but what do I know?
