What a chase!!!

I was able to stay till we got 200 on the board but had to go as my young kids were falling asleep. Sussex nailed in from the start, Wright and Joyce quickly attacked the run rate which was pretty much 9 per over for the first 20 or so overs. Great stuff.

Flat wicket obviously, but you still have to rack the runs up. Good running, some great hitting, well done Sussex, I thought 290 was going to be well out of reach.

Superb evenings cricket. Nearly 600 runs off 79 overs.
Joyce was a masterclass, his cover drives were immense.
Luke and Machin were both brutal and hitting sixes for fun.
Biggest cheer of thenight was when Samit Patel dropped Ed, and it was an absolute dolly, Stevie Wonder would have caught it.
Robbo had a chat with us when Notts were on 260, and he thought they had enough then. He wasnt confident we would get 260, so great run chase.
