Lunch Day 3
Sussex 20-0 (Yardy 12*, Nash 7*)
267 runs or 10 wickets to wrap up the win... I know who my money is on!
IF big IF they can bat most of the afternoon your money may be not looking so good.

Toby Roland-Jones: Why has he never made the Test squad ?
He certainly ticks all the boxes - private school, double-barrelled name, plays at Lords, on first name terms with Straussy.
Anyone got the link to the BBC commentary? I cannot find it today and want to listen to Sussex knocking these runs off.
Not sure about the double barreled name. We haven't had many of those.
A digression - does anyone know whether the Sussex CCC has a motto?
If not I propose "Intercluderent aut mori" which, according to Google Translate, means "Block or Die".

It doesn't: it means "they block off or to die"
You'd need to use the imperative: Intercludete aut Morimini or better still, the subjunctive
I think oppilare would be the better verb though
You need Rex Cathedra here
Good point. I don't think England have had a double-barreled named player since I've been watching cricket. Cant even think who the last one was - unless you count Raman Subba Row (and that's not really double-barreled)
