Just back from Hove. Very lame performance by our boys against the worthy champions. Batting and fielding very poor as was the bowling apart from RMJ and Jason.

This morning Robinson and Adams had a long talk on MacKay's eating terrace; could not hear what was said but they did not look happy. The members in that area were also very unhappy at having been sqeezed into a few benches because no one had removed the 20 20 plastic seats. Afraid not only is the playing side of the club going downhill but the management is failing even quicker than the team.

Don't like the games in hand other teams have on us, we really need to beat Hampshire @ Arundel and Somerset @ Horsham, it may be good to get out of town and change the scenery.

Lame is a good description. I went on Sunday and yesterday and was very disappointed with the Sussex performances on both days.
