Is this lad related to our hapless coach??

This season has been a disaster for Mark Davis and unless he has a mass clear out and at least tries to blood the youth (and a few that can actually bat) then I see nothing else but more of the same for a few more seasons :-(

He is hardly a 'lad'...

Just think how Middlesex must feel - we beat them! Will they ever live down the humiliation?

Blimey, you ask him to blood some youth and have a go at him for doing just that.

This looks like a good team to me: we're out of the competition so let's have a look at some of the younger lads.

And Christian Davis is the guy who scored a few against us this year playing for Leeds/Bradford and scored a record-breaking 258 for the Seconds last week

Must be his nephew then or won some competition to have a game for Sussex CC?
Scored 258 against Glamorgan for the second team last week, the highest score made by a second eleven player in Sussex's history.

This is exactly what we should be doing at this stage of the season, having a look to see how the youngsters do in the first team.
