Why is Ed Joyce commentating on Sky ?
Off again. Need to finish over 5 and the cutoff point is 9:45 before the game finishes a tie. Been like this all day with the rain. Just bad enough to go off, and just light enough to get back on.
Five balls away from a win. Shame! Though tonight was frustrating, it was of course the poor temperament verses Kent and Hampshire where Sussex chucked away games they had full control over. Really should be sitting on at least 15 points right now. At least we've got the 4 day thrashings to look forward to...
Amen to thatDavis out...
Bloody weather - Shame on Glamorgan not willing to bowl those last 5 balls
Davis is proving that he can't manage his way out of a wet, already tearing paper bag.
Shambles in all forms.

This as well. Normally when a team is relegated you don't appoint from within.
I'm not convinced that Davis is to blame: he might be, but he hasn't been dealt a good hand.
In just over a year, we've lost Yardy, Prior and RHB - three pretty decent batters to replace (and we've not tried to replace them). We signed an overseas batsman who hasn't really come off and lost our captain to injury. We have Brown batting a place too high as we're so short of batting talent. Not sure if all (or any ) of that can be blamed on Davis - does he have final say on recruitment?
I've mentioned before that we're too small a county to have one-day specialists - I can't see any justification for having the likes of Salt, Cachopa, Mills, Beer and Briggs playing one-day cricket (nearly) exclusively. I can understand a young player like Salt but the rest seems like luxury to me.
Don't think the future looks too bad: Salt, Garton, Whittingham all look promising. Nash and Wells seem to have their mojo back - and should be around for a few years yet - and Finch looks like he could come good.
Davis may be hopeless but I think the jury has to be out at the moment, he deserves more of a chance

Davis knew what was happening at the club , should not of taken the job , it's too big for him , all counties have one day specialist , most being overseas players ,
