Okay, Essex may be Division One champions but I think we can all agree this will be a routine win for Gillespie’s Unbeatables.

Thought it might be worth a thread anyway.

Starter for 10.
Would it be a backwards step to recall Luke Wells?

Don't know about Wells but we should be thinking about playing an extra bowler and leaving the top 5 to score the runs.

Given the weather forecast we'll need to bowl them out twice in quick time.

Meanwhile, Hants and Surrey are due to pitch battle on our territory - due to the Test match taking place at the toilet bowl, Hants will be hosting at Arundel this week

Who are we farming Laurie Evans out to this week instead of playing him ourselves?

More to the point, why is this slated as a 4 day game ?

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Based on the last game, we will field first and they will be 1000 for no wicket at the close of day 2, after which we will be bowled out for 23 and 37.

Were loose.

Don’t bet on it. Sussex are quite capable of losing, whatever the circumstances!!

:lolol: Just give us a couple of bats, a ball and a few hours and anything’s possible
