Slow Muchall has his 50, we could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here...

Durham need 25 to win from 20 balls with 2 wickets remaining.

It's a funny old game, eh?

Just spent the evening in the company of an SCCC member. We both agreed the afternoon performance was dire, and it wasn't worth paying any attention to the Durham innings which was going to be another one day humiliation for our lot.

How wrong can you be?

Roll on the Surrey game.

letf for the oub when Durham were something like 25odd for 5 and though "yay we'll win this", just got home quite pissed and am saying to myself "yay we've won this!"

Good stuff Sussex and MUSHY....BOWLING BOWLING MUSHY!

Left for the pub after Mushy got his first wicket I think.....remember quite clearly the wicket keeper saying "Mushy....Mushy....Very Cute" - I hope he was talking about his bowling ???

Yep, our early season NCL form was shocking whereas Scotland won a few at the start and i believe were top or thereabouts for a few games.

Still i don't care where we finish, its all about the Championship for me.

Brixtaan, we are only 2 points behind Scotland but thats only coz we've played 8 games and they've played 11, we've played less games than everyone in the division, we can still get promotion yet mate! But lets be honest we're rather shit at this one day stuff at the mo lol.

We are aren't we!!!

Its funny that this top order fiddling has not once brought Martin Jenkins to open or even Davis who can both really hit the ball.

Good to see the bowlers really swinging the ball last night, Hutchison was looking good, putting the abll in the right places and all.

Stop it, i can't read any more, save yourself,i don't like to see a man down like this but when someone starts their post by excusing/explaining how they've come to be below Scotland due to the oddities of the points system, you know they're in trouble.:nono:

One day cricket is vital to the development of Test cricketers,it's more important to cricket than the FA Cup is to football IMHO,but equally as necessary.

I don't see exactly how us playing 3 games less than Scotland (12 points worth) is in anyway related to the oddities of the oints system???

How do you explain Robert the Pie man Key? He's useless at One day cricket, and yet still made it into the test side, were he is equally useless!

i just think it's 'odd' that you've played 3 games less, that's all, otherwise i'm just making all this up as i go along to get a reaction, which isn't hard when talking to people below Scotland at cricket hahahahahahaha.

As for the pie-Key man, i can't explain, he's like Heskey, vital in holding the ball up,supporting the other strikers, causing trouble around the box etc, but ultimately shit.
Either that or he's in the side cos having England play without Kent representation is like England without Man Utd players, unthinkable.

My god we agree on something! Key is crap! Ed Smith is the only Kent player I would even consider letting go near the Test setup!
