Shame the hoover itself smells of vomit as some STUDENT last year hoovered up their sick with it. Damn students.
I got an unconditional offer from both Brighton and Sussex, but I rejected them as they're so lefty and "alternative". I chose Cardiff. I'd rather live in Wales than that concrete monstrosity.

I'm just amazed they managed to get 40 of the lazy-arsed tossers to turn up at the same venue at the same time :lolol:

How many students does it take to change a light bulb....

None - the lazy bastards will just sit there in the dark until the landlord comes round and does it for them.

What do you say to a student with a job....

I'll have fries with that please.

Tax-dodging twats.

Oooh, I need a lie down now.

Not all students are that bad, just most of them.

how many times do i have to say this. the idea that it was 40 students is about double the amount that were there. this is even less democratic.

The Argus have got a comment from Jeff Woade!

I mean!

Jeff Woade!

Imagine the size of his balls. Imagine getting into a fight with the
fucker ... but that wouldn't wash with Geoff. No! He'd like a bit of pleading. Add spice to it. In fact, he'd probably tell you what he was going to do before he did it. "I'm going to pull you head off". "Oh no, please, don't pull my head off". "I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head!"

i'm going to have to if no one will listen.

i've spoken to other students today and believe he will get a lot of people shouting at him in blackpool next week.

That's like that 2nd Chancellor twat today who blithered on about 3.5 million households worse off from this budget, and said that Brown fails to tell the people the complete picture. Meaning the other X million households making up the British constituancy are not worse off, and he's failing to tell THAT 'complete picture'!

A few negs vs the majority of positives, and they want the headlines? I DON'T THINK SO

for people on facebook (a mainly student based chat forum simalar to my space) there are 526 members currently pro falmer mainly at Brighton and Sussex uni's

this comes from fans from Notts County, Leeds, Wrexham, West Ham, Chalton Reading, fans and thats the first page of notes alone

NB: There are 2 facebook groups. One called "we want Falmer", the other "YES to Falmer" or something along those lines.

I spoke with Dan Glass yesterday. Let him know that I wasn't happy.

Claims to have been misquoted in the Argus (No surprises there), but still, IMO, needs to be made aware of the facts. Will continue to apply pressure.

DG's claimed to've received what he described as "death threats" since the story hit the paper.

i spoke to dan glass as well he wants to hold a debate with the club to argue out the finer points and put forward their argument with the students preseent to get their opinion and so the union can put forward a truely representative view of the student opinions . said to me that he had been miss quoted to as he said that they tried to make it clear that this was not policy of the union as the ugm did not have enough people there to pass it offically (only 15) and it wont go to council until may.
i think that we should go up there and have this debate it would be away of getting our ideas across and putting an end to this student bashing and football fan bashing from students .
dan is looking at a date.

from what he said to me it wasn't death threats but just threatening emails which is rediculas and should never happen.

the unfriendly comments on the argus page are not helping and it needs to get sorted.

so what do nscers think of a debate up at sussex?

Of course a debate is a good thing, but it should be with the students [both antis and pros], representatives of the two unis themselves and the club. The club, particularly Martin Perry, and perhaps Ed Bassford to represent the fans, will present the case, with the facts, much better than many on here would.

A slanging match would be very unhelpful.

True, but if the silly bugger had thought a bit before opening his gob it wouldn't have happened. A bit of background research into the process that has got us this far might not have chnaged his in principle position but might have stopped all the bollocks about alternative sites etc. Or do students think they are above the democratic process?

No sympathy!
