Anyone know why this game against Hastings United is being played at Eastbourne Town ?

Assuming it's not two legs and so just being played at a neutral venue ?

Shame, as I was first led to believe it was being played at The Pilot Field and was looking forward to strolling down to watch it. :(

Eastbourne
The Saffrons is alright. Walking distance from town, nice little bar on site.

Neutral ground & Eastbourne is mid-wayish between Brighton & Hastings so both sets of fans have roughly the same travel distance?

think we'd have been happy to have it as near to hastings as possible as we tend to give up home advantage in the senior cup anyway - eastbourne would have been the nearest ground capable of holding it though that was a neutral venue
