Maybe i'm living in the past but this guy would probably not get on the same square as Imran khan, Gehan Mendis, Michael Bevan or Kepler Vessels.

Gehan Mendis wasn't an overseas player - he went to Brighton, Hove & Sussex school

We had Umar Gul last year who is meant to be like one of the best t20 players about but didnt do much at all. :shrug:

4 overs a match makes it pretty difficult to make any sort of impression, at least as a top order batsman you have a chance of getting in and posting a score. The way bowlers are used in t20 makes it difficult to find a rhythm and although you will get the odd 3 wicket over, quite often if they don't mix it up they will get tonked.

Sorry, being born in Colombo with a Sri Lankan sounding name made me think he was from overseas, easy mistake to make.
