Brighton factually.....
Born in Southlands 1969, Shoreham Beach for six months, then Portslade with my gran, then Worthing a foster home, then sadly at the age of 6 it was the start of a tour that took in good and bad from Aldershot, Basingstoke, Dachet, Wigan, Godalming, Rusholme, Palmers Green (London), Potters Bar, Camden and finally back home in 2009 after 34 years away and boy is it good to wake up everyday in Sussex...

The rolling green, The fresh sea air.....
We are so lucky.

Born in Surrey, moved to Hampshire, arrived in Sussex- all within the space of my first 6 weeks. (Mainly because social services had to play 60s surplus baby football with me).

Been here ever since. First home near Horsham.

Forgive me my son, I never absorbed what the '60's surplus baby implied'
I burn with all the feelings shame I should, although you can probably see where I was going.
I hope life since has been kinder, more often than not, but statistically I realise that's not probable.
May life be kinder as you continue your journey.

I shall now go and sit in cünts corner.

Not at all, I ran down my baby contract and was loaned out to a family in Brighton before signing a permanent contract in 1973.

Sussex didn't want me as my contract was costing to much. All the while they were bitching with Surrey and Hampshire I was too busy eating, drinking, shitting and being sick.

If you're still stuck in ***** corner, I did do a few little pieces on it a while back. The baby football section is here.

I had no idea it was Sussex day, but seem to have done well none the less today. A trip to pickup Harveys (from the depot over the road, brewery shop still shut  ), a walk along Seaford beach with the child, and then a walk up at Jack & Jill Windmill. Thoroughly glorious day to be in Sussex!
