News from the two-day game against Lancashire at the ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai; Lancs 141 all out. James Anyon the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 14. Trialist Andrew Miller took 2 for 23 and Chris Liddle 2 for 38

Lancashire are continuing to bat for the rest of the day (the full 90 overs) regardless of score.

The true champions of world cricket seem to be having a rather TURBULENT time in this pre-season stuff.

Not this year, for some unaccountable reason the true champions were relegated at the end of last season. Guess that the authorities hadn't read the rule book and realised that Lancs are always flying high above the rest of the teams.

There were TURBULENT times at Old Trafford in 2012 but I have a feeling it is BOEING to be PLANE sailing for Lancs CCC in the second division in 2013 and they will soon SOAR back into the top FLIGHT....providing it doesn't rain too much of course.
