"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
John 1:29

This rather underplays his contribution to Sussex, so far

Would this be someone who has only had a single test innings for England in his career?

Lovely to see Seales and Robinson bowling together, feels like a proper attack. Lamb looked dangerous earlier too.

Simpson is a fine keeper.

Raman Subba Row has passed away. For those of us who are really old.

As a kid I was fascinated by his name more than anything. But his brief Test career wasn't too shabby. Was the oldest living English Test player at time of passing.

As well as a full commentary box, the heavenly Test series now has a ref and administrator.

RIP

188/4 at tea. the two set batsman falling to Carson and Seales, respectively.

Opening bat.

Test average of 46.8.

Could have done a job.

Next time you mention that farce on this thread, I sincerely hope that you will be banning yourself.

Mind you, I spend my time on here being nice to folks, so I do need the potty mouth, abusive release once a year. I save it for Crodo's Hundred thread. I don't mind one infraction a year. They probably fall off like points on a driving license.
f***ing baseball.

Thoroughly enjoyable day. Credit to the groundsmen and a proactive pair of umpires for keeping things going.

Lamb continues to look a very astute signing, while - and no disrespect meant to Carter, a promising young player making his way in the game - having an experienced, quality keeper in Simpson is making a huge difference.

If the slips hadn't dropped a couple of sitters, the stumps had another coat of lacquer etc they could have been skittled for a lot less.

In terms of getting a result, consider that this is the strip on which Glamorgan scored 737 in their 2nd innings in response to our 481 last year...
