Will Northants get a fine for failing to prepare the wicket up to standard?
It looks okay. Just very green. I haven't noticed any poor bounce.

I've been quite impressed with this Northants commentary team,; they're actually aware of what's going on

Close of day 3. Sussex 129 ahead with 8 wickets in hand. Wicket offering a lot more to the bowlers now.

Oh...

After him amazing innings last week, I see Louis Kimber was out for a 15 ball duck yesterday. Meanwhile, Robbo conceded fewer runs in the Northants innings yesterday than he did in one over last week. Those are the stats that make cricket the game we love.

Quick laws question for the room:

In my match on Saturday, our spinner is bowling, with the keeper stood up. The batsman rocks back to cut, but bottom edges straight down into the the ground. the ball bounces straight back up and the keeper steps forward collects the ball (in front of the stumps), and whips the bails off.

The guy is out of his ground, and rightly given out, but what is the method of dismissal? Is he STUMPED, or RUN OUT?

They don't really commentate on the play, they are just chatting and watching the cricket. They do have the big advantage of not actually needing to describe the action - unlike many counties, including Sussex, they have a separate team for the stream and the BBC radio/website commentary.

Seems like a RUN OUT to me.
