I believe if Birmingham win then our game vs them would be on first, whereas if Glos win then our game would be on 2nd.

I believe this is because Birmingham are the top ranked side and Surrey the second ranked side.
Are we not the third ranked side if Birmingham win? Which would mean we play the second ranked side?

If Gloucestershire win then we’ll be the second ranked side and would therefore play Somerset?

Either way we’re in the second/third ranked slot.

We can’t play Somerset or Surrey. Draw has already been done and we play the winners of Birmingham/Glouceter.

No idea if we will be first or second match. In the past we’ve usually been 2nd match as our supporters have furthest to travel

According the Sky commentary team last night, we'll play the afternoon slot.

BBC website also says we're the second semi-final starting at 2.30pm.
Normally the side that has furthest to travel gets to play in the second game.

It's actually good news for Sussex fans as they will be able to watch the other semi-final and enjoy it.
Once you lose the semi-final the fun disappears and if you are too emotionally engaged you just want to get home.
(at least I did when we lost to Kent, with Rana bowling dodgy no-balls for Sussex when we were in a winning position).

Who is this Birmingham you speak of ? Warwickshire, dear chaps, Warwickshire

I don't believe for one minute Sussex have made any more money by calling us 'Sharks'. I will never ever use that term or buy merchandise that has anything other than the Sussex crest on. Good on the six counties who no longer buy into this tosh. Mind you 'Brown Caps' suits Surrey...

See @hans kraay fan club I can do 'old man shouts at cloud' with just as much gusto !

Took a few pics the other night, not great, but very enjoyable to kick Lancs arse.
Last couple are winning runs.

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Warwickshire 74-5 needing 65 off 46 to beat Gloucestershire. Interesting finish emerging in the last QF.

Incredible from Gloucestershire against the non county team. Utterly absorbing.

George and Danny- you should have stayed with a COUNTY.

Gloucestershire have an uncanny knack of defending low totals. Usually hustling Sussex! I suppose it’s better the devil you know, as that Warwickshire side looked very strong on paper.

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Of the 16 QFs played since the start of the 2021 season, South Group teams have won 14 of them

And by Gloucestershire winning their QF we avoid playing Warwickshire at their home in front of their own supporters.
Just taken a look. Warwicks have only made Finals Day on four occasions. All the teams left are pretty tough. I'd put Somerset as favourites. Although no-one has retained the title.
