Surrey must be wondering how on earth they lost to these clowns

Farbrace was livid in his interview after the last game.
This performance has been considerably worse In every way.
I wonder if his anger will rise proportionally.
Or whether he will be so furious he will feel compelled to reign it in.
I hope Farbrace isn't too hard on the players. The team's just not good enough - that's not the players fault. I looked at the Birmingham vs Notts scorecard and the players they've got are frightening. They've all got at least 5-6 players who are IPL/Big Bash/The Hundred standard. We've got Shadab Khan who on paper is that standard but hasn't been great so far (can he play in English conditions?) and perhaps Garton but the rest won't get picked for those competitions. I don't really understand the finances of the counties, but worry that this is going to become the norm with the gap between the haves (The Hundred counties) and have-nots getting wider (although Somerset and Worcester seem to be doing ok at the moment).

Concessions from £10, adults are £30 I believe.
£30. An excessive amount for cricket lovers to pay. But seemingly not excessive for people who want to spend half their time queuing up for a drink.

We have a very weak side and no one has put there hand up so far
. Bopara had a good innings in the first match we lost and the side scrapped very well to win at the Oval.

Need to turn it round starting at Hove this afternoon

I listened to Farbrace’s post match interview last night and he seemed at a bit of a loss as to what to say or what to do. He said now’s not the time for a 2nd boll*****g in 2 days so would be talking quietly to the group. Today’s match is pivotal but there is little time to prepare. He said he couldn’t question their commitment and attitude, given their age and inexperience.
With Mills and Bopara sitting on the bench, and Finn, Mc Andrew and Orr injured, he must be wondering what to do.

Is this really worth £30?

Is Shadab Khan our worst overseas signing ever?

Failed with bat and ball, and injured our other overseas player (albeit unintentionally)

Some good points.
He wasn’t too harsh on the players in his interview.
That’s a generous assessment of Garton ! Question marks over his batting, bowling and fielding going by recent evidence.
I think we have the odd strong performance in us, but on the whole the lack of relative quality will show and will lose pretty much all our games. The overseas signings have been a disaster so far - to an extent through bad luck.

Not if they slump to another loss. T20 side looking weak this season, can't take wickets.

Loads of tickets available and not sold out at Hampshire yesterday. Has the bubble burst for 20/20 ?

He's a Pakistani international so maybe he takes after the national team and is either dreadful or unplayable. He might score a hundred and take 5 wickets for 3 runs today (or I might be getting that mixed up with a Glamorgan player).
