We were never going to win anyway as they have a formidable team. but we have thrown away the chance of being vaguely competitive.
As is the way with this team, it’s not so much the defeat that’s hard to swallow, it’s the manner of the defeat.

Basically it was a pretty average team anyway and then we lose McAndrew, Bopara (in Frank Spencer stylee) and Mills.
It doesn’t help that Khan is a terrible batsman and not exactly an international man of mystery with the ball.
