Cheteshwar Pujara 200* (328 balls, 24 fours) :clap2:

Sussex 522-7, leading by 299 :clap2:

..... and Pujara out. That's mucked up his average for the season .........................

Not to mention setting off a true Sussex collapse! 5 wickets for 34 runs!

If the pitch stays vaguely ok, I’d be amazed if Durham’s top order made such a hash of it for a second time.
Nailed-on draw.

Hope I am proved wrong but can see why Hants have loaned Crane out

He sounded grumpy in the bbc interview this week. Not with Sussex, but with cricket in general.
It must be tough to go from playing for england in the ashes to being surplus to requirements at his county.
Too soon to judge him for Sussex imo, although yes, he’s been poor so far. He got his wickets with stinkers.

The most curious thing..
If the pitch stays vaguely ok, I’d be amazed if Durham’s top order made such a hash of it for a second time.
Nailed-on draw.
160 - 0

Potential Durham win.

Called it.

It’s Durhams game to throw away.

While we have this attack it will likely be the case.
We might get the rub of the green once, but not twice.
At least we are not getting rolled over - if we’d have had the Travis Head of last season (and not Pujara) we’d be losing every match in two and half days.
Also - I notice Burrows was seventh choice bowler this innings. Is he injured? If not, it looks like Haines has lost all faith in him.

Durham 289-0.

I’m going out on a limb, and saying this one’ll end in a draw.

I find it hard to believe that Leicestershire are below us in the table.

How bad must they be...?

Robbo, Garton and Hunt back in the XI. Looks a much better line up atleast. I wonder if the current trend of producing draw pitches will continue?

Looks a batter light to me ... Garton at 7 is surely a place too high?

I'd have played Carter for Hunt

That was a decent ball that got Haines - straightened after pitching

Has there ever been a steeper drop in batting quality than Rizwan at 6 to Garton at 7!?
Carter should be playing.
Great to have Robinson back though. Finally we have a competitive team.
