Just back home. What a SUPERB win that was. Genuinely thought we were in big trouble with our meagre total, but god can we bowl and field well.

Seemed to be very few Sussex fans in the Mound stand where we were, but me and my bro gave a good vocal showing.

We were in the Mound, and I thought there were a reasonable number of Sussex fans - big shout when Gilchrist played on, anyway! Mention for Luke Wright, too - looked all over the place with the bat, but great bowling.

Gilchrist is on 20k per Twenty20 game. No wonder Middx lack any depth when they spend all that on one player. Disappointed they couldn't make more of a game of it last night.

Who will Sussex drop for McCullum? As far as I can see, they can't play him, Smith and Yasir - will it be Dwayne who gets the chop? Yasir's looked pretty good so far.

I watched from the Jim Parks bar and it showed how many must have travelled up as there was probably only 25 people inside.

Monty and Keegan watched the game as well, I thought Monty would have loved a bowl on that wicket as well. I imagine he is being saved for the Derby game, also heard Collymore had popped back to the Caribean so wonder if he will play in the game starting Saturday.

I think McCullan is down to play at Tunbridge Wells (Argus) so I wonder if Yasir or Dwayne are off to do any international games.

Surely Hodd? Not ideal dropping a Sussex lad but cant see who else it would be. Brenda and Lukey opening up sounds spectacular.

Family bereavement according to The Argus. Shame, going to need Yasir to step up in the 4 day stuff with the ball.

How many overseas players can you play in 1 match? If there is no limit then gatting will have to be dropped. If we're limited to 2 overseas players then that is a very tough call as yasir and dwayne are both massively important with bat, ball and fielding

Gatting has looked shockingly out of touch I am afraid. And love him though I do, could we live without RMJ/Will Beer?

Always assuming we can play Dwight, Yasir and Brandan - which perhaps we can't. Would be sad to miss any of those three when the Champions roll in to Tunbridge Wells next week.

Looks like it is two from Brendan, Yasir and Dwight. What a shame to have to drop one.

Massive shame. Going to be honest, out of those three Id not have Brendan. Brilliantly exciting player, but factoring in Smithys fielding and bowling and Yasirs ability to bat and bowl they are indispensable surely.
