You may get your chance. Saying things like that will get you admitted too.

Glad some people find somebody else's bad health amusing.

Lets face it, a middle aged spinster from a small village, who suddenly shoots to fame, that is a massive adjustment to make. Younger people, with less baggage, tend to handle it better.

Good luck to her, I say.

is the priory a 'real' clinic, or more likely a celeb ego massaging pr stunting tax writeoff?

anyone else just goes home and has a good rest. it doesnt need to be on front of the papers.

she lost.

accept it.

guess you have been lucky enough never to have suffered the debilitating effects of depression. I hope that if you ever do, no-one puts it in the public arena, because if they chose to they sure as hell wouldn't ask for your permission first.

Another example of the thudercunts that inhabit NSC nowadays. She as said above had brain damage at birth and was/is borderline Downs. She came on stage 7 weeks ago and had the piss ripped out of her until she sang. She then delivered 2 more excellent performances and should have won on Saturday for the impact and 3 performances overall.

She had a melt down under immense pressure as the press turned her from hero to zero.

Still if it gives the perfect people on NSC a chance to kick someone else go ahead.

People shouldn't forget there's plenty of people out there who can sing just as well as her.

They just chose not to go on that show.

Going on the show means you know you'll be under the spotlight of the carmera once you step onto stage.

She made that choice.

She obviously has issues do you not think. He bizarre , eccentric hip wiggling and strange comments were obvious from the start. She sjould have been protected more by the TV producers and Cowell.

My cousin has DS, and I have to say it's cobblers to suggest she's anything like him, not even in the same hemisphere.

She can sing and speak perfectly fine.

He can't.

What US and Severnside Gull said. Poor woman, I'm sure she wasnt prepared or expecting the hysteria and its clearly way too much, good luck to her, the best thing for her I reckon would be to retire back to her little village. I'm sure she'll be exploited though with a tour of America etc blah blah

Everyone has issues, none of us are immune to it, be they physical, mental or whatever.

But she made the decision to go on the show so I think we have to give her a bit of credit that she knew exactly what she was putting herself into.

She probably saw that Welshman and thought I can do that.

And it's not the shows fault or job to protect her.

The whole premice of the show is to get yaself on camera and try and win a large amount of money.

Do quiz shows have a responsibility to protect stupid people who can't answer any questions right?

Goodness no!

I read she's going to make 10 million at least in a year, pretty large compensation for getting ya mug on tv.

A mate of mine spent three weeks in the roehampton one a few years ago. I used to visit on sunday nights, it's mainly normal people in there. Most people were from families with a bit of money but their problems were very real. It wasn't just addiction, lots of depression, self harming etc

By all accounts it's no holiday camp
