Does anyone know what's happened to Van Zyl? When the first squad was announced, there was no mention of any injury (and there's nothing on the website now). It's strange that a test player and one-day specialist could be left out: the silence is baffling

I heard the commentator say whoever he was , he was out due to injury but no mention of what it was , that was the game v Somerset

The ECB strike again.

On a Bank Holiday there are no One Day games anywhere but tomorrow, when we are all (well most of us), back at work it will start again.

Perhaps they want to point to poor attendances as a reason to axe the 50 over game. Then we could squeeze in some more 20/20... :angry:
