So our sugar daddy running out at £30 million and going bust, whilst your sugar daddy is still going strong at £200 million with debt growing at 10 million plus per annum, is cheating whilst Brighton are models of financial prudence.

Give me strength.

The difference is that our sugar daddy is prudent and invested his money in wide ranging investments so won't go bust. He has already said the money for the stadium is ring fenced, so if he died in a plane crash, we wouldn't be in trouble.

God knows what would happen to Palace if Jordan died in a caravan crash.

Just a small point but you're clearly telling porkies. Auto-correct would have corrected it to 'reposts'. Rather than take a tiny little spelling mistake on the chin, you bullshit about it. I think it might be you that needs these little victories, you know.

Sorry to burst that buzzer bubble that you live in, but you are wrong. If it would have auto corrected as reposts then I would have posted it as reposts. Nice that you took the time to actually try it though.
Anyway how are you doing in being so better off than all of us, please give us some tips on how you do it :lolol:

Auto correct made me spell a word wrong, I like how you all jump on that though. When you support Brighton you need to celebrate the small victories :banana::banana::banana:

You lot have probably forgotten what a victory feels like.

Can I ask how you know this? As you seem to be the only one who seems to know his investments.
Nice to know he/they can waste 10 million per year though and all for the love of BHA.

Eh? So your auto-correct changes 'riposte' to a word that doesn't exist in the English language? Okay, if you say so.

Nice try, but you present an informal fallacy. You cannot use the argument that Brighton fans are hypocritical in viewing Jordan's investment as cheating, but not viewing Bloom's in the same light, because this would require Brighton fans to have argued that Jordan's investment was cheating. Nobody has argued this.

What has been argued is that your club's response to the cash running out, to use administration to write off the debt, instead of selling players in order to pay your way was cheating. It seems impossible to argue that it was anything other than cheating because your club incurred a punishment as a result of breaking league rules. The club's guilt was not in question and was not challenged. However, many viewed the punishments for this type of offence as being inadequate and this contributed to the introduction of FFP rules: rules that Tony Bloom has been very careful to ensure have not been broken by his investment.

I'm not the only one who knows this. He is a fan & the third generation director from his family.

He announced that at the very first fans forum at the Amex, a statement that has stuck in my mind. He also said if I remember correctly, that it was to be passed on to his son.

Has the previous administration when Goldberg also lost all his money, along with the local businesses and the tax man, already been erased from your memory. Going into administration twice in a decade must be some kind of (call it what you like) record for a football club?

In your plane crash scenario, who'd pick up the £10m year on year losses?

There's your answer.

If his son didn't want to carry on, there is usually a buyer for a good football club. I cannot see a 4th generation Bloom selling us down the river especially with his great uncle still on the board of directors.

Your posting style is very similar to someone who frequents the bbs , I can't put my finger on it but it will come to me .
Seeing as you feel you have a talent for spotting this sort of thing, which banned user was the troll swillis on here posting as previously? I feel it might have been Glenn-Murray, would be interested in your opinion. ???

Can I just say I don't like the cockiness exhibited in these kind of discussions.

I'm sure Bolton fans thought there was no way lifelong fan Eddie Davies would pull the plug and see the club on the verge of extinction for the sake of what is a small sum of money relative to what he'd already put in.

We all have complete faith in Tony Bloom, but we don't have much choice to do so. There is no reason to believe that we could "do a Bolton" but we also need to be realistic that none of us know what Bloom's worth really is, nor if circumstances could mean that one day he has to say "enough is enough".

What he's done, and continues to do, for this football club is amazing but you can bet that should the unthinkable happen and it all unravels, there will be a queue of fans from opposing clubs saying "told you so".
