"We had our ground stolen by crooks".

No what happened that by the mid-1990's you had nothing of any value in the club left other than the ground you owned, you had to sell your goalie just to pay HMIT a tax bill, but the rest of your side were journeymen by then. Your management (including Bloom's grandfather I believe) had wasted all the income you had made from the good years, including two Cup Finals, in ways which have never been made clear.

The Goldstone was a sh*tty rustheap which barely had decent stands, one side was open to the elements. Your fans were being castigated over their behaviour. Points deducted etc. In one game one assaulted the ref and one of the opposition players.

Now you BOAST that you avoided administration. Your ground was SOLD in murky circumstances. Don't pay the "Morality" card with Palace, sunshine.

Blinkered.

Exorbitant interest rates, excessively prohibitive fines for payments intentionally missed, selling our ground to pay off debts only for the site to be sold for over 3x less than a year later. They WERE crooks.

It may have been a 'rustheap' but it was home and special to alot of us, something you should know all about with your own rustheap.

Who will be quoting the odds? Tony Bloom?

I doubt if our Chairman would have anything to do with small fry like you, however,if you were willing to back your ludicrous claim with hard cash, I imagine one of the high street bookies would willingly relieve you of it

He doesn't go to the home games to see what a shithole Palace ground is. He lives in Seaford and Palace is far to far away to go and support his team.

Why don't you just go back to your own board and spout all the boll@cks you and many others spout on there, we are not interested in your inaccurate views on here.

When I do look at BBS it has virtually no comment about Albion. We just concentrate on our own activities. Unfortunately 1200 messages on here, mostly by Albion supporters, suggests you haven't got the same priorities, especially as far as past factual accuracy is concerned.

Please tell me what happened, for instance, to all the money the club made out of your run to the 1983 Cup Final. Why was virtually nothing done to improve the ground for the spectators?

Compare Selhurst.

1968/69 Arthur Wait stand built.
1981 or abouts. Sainsbury's.
1994/5 Holmesdale Stand put in.

Someone "milked" Albion it would seem. But who? Do you care? Obviously not.

Paragraph 1 is just you guessing and making stuff up, you know nothing.

Paragraph 2 is hilarious, criticising the Goldstone ground when you are still rattling around in that steaming shitty rat piss infested sphincter of a stadium of yours. Our fans were castigated? So focking what. Like palace fans are a beacon of peace and good behaviour, do me a favour.

Paragraph 3. Avoiding administration is a perfectly acceptable and honourable boast, not something you could ever boast about being a club with a history of being dishonest cheating scumbags.

4. Piss off and enjoy your awful shitty season while we glory in ours...sunshine.

Let us know when someone does something to improve Selhurst from 1978 won't you sunshine?

I understand our Chairman ( Mike Bamber) at the time found out he had cancer and needed to take a lot of his investment in the club back and resigned in 1984. but I have no proof of this but it would seem feasible. Sadly he passed away in 1988

Now please just f*** off

So, you're concentrating on your own activities?

You do realise this is an Albion message board do you? We are enjoying the shitfest that is Crystal Palace 2010, on our own board, where as you have come on to your rivals board, and posted 5483 times in seven years. As for an Albion fan doing time for death threats to Bellotti, he should have kept it to throat slitting gestiures as perfected by your own intellectually challenged support

Correct.

Yep - we sell players to pay debts, and get relegated as a consequence. That's living within your means.
but the rest of your side were journeymen by then. Your management (including Bloom's grandfather I believe) had wasted all the income you had made from the good years
Yep, spending wisely in football is a difficult game. Not sure what your point is.

The Goldstone was a sh*tty rustheap which barely had decent stands, one side was open to the elements.
Yep, again, not sure what your point is.
Your fans were being castigated over their behaviour.
Like all other football fans in the country then. We were no worse than anyone else. Again, not sure what your point is.
Now you BOAST that you avoided administration. Your ground was SOLD in murky circumstances.
Yes, we sold players to pay bills, so we didn't go into administration. The selling of the ground wasn't murky, some crooks took over the club and stole the money. Yet still we managed to avoid administration, because we carried on within our means. I appreciate that's quite an alien concept to you. You just spend and assume mum and dad will pay.
Don't pay the "Morality" card with Palace, sunshine.
Sunshine? Of course morality is going to be brought up when discussing your sham of a club.

Please post up again that wonderful pasted picture someone did of Gordon Greer holding up Muzza's disembodied head when he moved to Palace. That was SO funny.

Clutching at staws abit now aren't you. Sad ****.

Sounds like something that would be posted on your boards right about now. Just speculation though, I don't visit your boards because I couldn't give a **** about you.

Why? I think a picture of Pardew dancing in the FA cup final just before you lost is funnier. Actually, a picture of Andros Townsend taking a free-kick would be just as funny, if you include his price tag within the picture. In fact, what about Benteke? His price tag alone would make us all laugh. Oh, I've forgotten Adeybayor, he was hilarious. A picture of him holding a Palace shirt would be comedy gold. If none of these make the laughter, then just get a picture of the Palace Ultras and their mission to take down modern football whilst standing underneath the old Sellhurst Floodlights now converted into strobe lights.

Not sure why we need to go as far back as 2011 for laughter? The modern day jokes seem funner.
