Edged it ! 62,% possession , palace battered them. But in saying that we can have as much possession and hit the woodwork as many times as we want, but while we have a defense that leaks goals and a manager who goes all out attack in the last minute when a point is there we will get relegated . And with the squad palace have would be quite an achievement!

Possession means nothing. Burnley's tactics are to take advantage of a little-known loophole in law 10. It says "The team scoring the greater number of goals during a match is the winner.". Works for me!

I'd want to see stats for possession in the opposition half. Many teams (not Palace, especially) pad their possession stats by passing it round the back four.

Let's be fair for the last couple of season the possession states have been the other way round.

Anything behind the Klinsmann rumours?

Not that I've heard, after seeing palace only win in the league once this calendar year ( I was on holiday when they beat stoke) I am going to games on auto pilot at the moment. Hate to say this but I find the premierships a bit dull, that and the fact games are any day any time I sort of find it inconveiant , 4 of our 5 Xmas fixture have been changed adding to my hatred of this sky football wxxk feast.

Welcome to our world on fixture changes. The only difference is our changes are a result of success on the pitch.....

Heard the Klinsmann thing from a Palace STH not that iit means anything.

Think Bristol City had more possession than us at the weekend, doesn't mean we didn't deserve to win.

It's all well & good signing players like Townsend & Benteke, but are they the sort of guys you want battling for you in a relegation scrap, or are they reminiscent of Newcastle United last season? All flair and no spine or guts whatsoever.

Be fair reading some of the palace on here a relegation scrap was never on the cards. Europa league football or beyond was what they were saying.

As I've said on another thread, if this losing streak continues, he won't be here at Christmas.
Need to beat Bournemouth next week, or the pressure will start to build.

Are they taking a mortgage out to pay his severance pay Se20?.
It does seem a few are concerned with all the money coming in that Palace are looking at mortgage's and some posters seem a little concerned about this considering the vast sums of Premier league money you have been getting.

Or is it the start of admin 3?

Must be incorrect.

All we hear is how rosy things are at Palace.

Bloom makes money on betting, Your biggest sponsor is a credit card company...Oh the irony

The Credit Card company who are one of the biggest employers in Brighton..... whereas you are sponsored by an off-shore bookmaker, so pay no UK tax or betting levy and have no beneficial impact to local or national economy. Yep you can certainly take the moral high ground there.

Palace are paying Townsend and Kabaye £100k per week, each, and Benteke £130k per week. Not only can they not afford to pay salaries of such magnitude, the disparity in wages between the lower-paid players and the higher-paid is detrimental to the team-spirit.

Would you ?
I haven't seen enough of Dale to form an opinion.

I think we could survive without him. Norwood showed enough class in his passing ability to keep Stephens out of the team whilst he did.

Cabaye looks very average. How much did you spend on him? What are his wages? Stephens could be a better player based on what I've seen.
